New Home Buyer Report Available The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has issued a new Home Buyer Report (HBR) format which will come into force on 1 January 2010. Its main aim is to provide home buyers with a simpler, easier-to-read document about the condition and value of a residential property with other information like an Energy Performance Rating and condition ratings for each element of a building’s fabric. Notes Chris Winser of this development, “Our objective will be to enhance these reports with additional information which we think will help clients with their property purchasing decisions.” Tip : Remember to “winterise” your home When autumn is upon us, be sure to take steps to protect your property against potential problems caused by frost and snow.
